Lorimer Properties LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use, store, and delete it, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you message us, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message.
- Rental application. Our online application is hosted on this website. To evaluate your application you provide identification and contact details (including your date of birth, driver's license or state ID number, and, if you choose to provide it, the last four digits of your Social Security number), residence and landlord history, employment and income, proposed occupants, vehicles, references, an emergency contact, background disclosures (such as prior evictions, money owed to a landlord, bankruptcy, smoking, and criminal convictions), and your electronic signature. You also authorize the background, credit, and reference checks described on our Application page.
- Technical information. With each form submission we record the date and time, your IP address, and your browser type. The site sets one session cookie that is necessary to protect our forms from spam and forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs.
- Third-party content. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the Apartments page embeds a Google Map. Google receives your IP address and browser information when that content loads, under Google's own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
- To process and evaluate rental applications, including running the background, credit, and reference checks you authorize.
- To manage tenancies and meet our legal and business obligations.
- To protect the site and our forms from spam, fraud, and abuse.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services — for example, with the screening services that perform the background, credit, and reference checks you authorize, and with the providers that host this website and deliver our email. We may also disclose information when required by law.
When you submit an application, our office receives an email notification containing only your name, the property, and your phone number and email address. The full application — including sensitive details — is not sent by email. You receive a confirmation email that does not repeat your application details.
How we store and protect it
Submitted applications are saved on our web server in a restricted location that is not reachable from the public website, and are viewed only through a password-protected administration page over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you would rather not enter a particular detail online, call us at (360) 201-6183.
How long we keep it
Applications — including any we have archived — are automatically deleted from our server 90 days after they are submitted. During those 90 days an application can be considered for other properties you become interested in. A copy of each contact-form message is also kept on our server for up to 90 days; notification emails we receive remain in our email account until we delete them. If an application leads to a lease, the information we need for the tenancy becomes part of your tenant record and is kept for as long as the law or our business requires. We may also keep information longer where the law requires it.

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion where applicable.
